MRVC COPY CAT USB CONTROLS

OVERVIEW

No more…… wobbly joysticks on the dining room table.

No more…… sewing machine type pedals.

No more…… trying to fly helicopter sims with the wrong controls in the wrong position.

The MRVC is a skeletal Multi-Role Virtual Cockpit / Flight deck, that can be assembled in a few minutes without the need for any tools or specialised knowledge and puts all the controls in the right position for proper use.

MRVC Pedal set and main frame

The MRVC is much more than just another set of pedals.  It is the starting point to enable you to build up your Multi-Role controls and then add any of the extra fittings at a later time if you wish. It will replace your existing games type pedals if you have them. (No other pedals will fit, or are performance compatible with the MRVC system.)  The pedal module sits on a 715mm or,( 28in) long rectangular plated steel tube. A cross tube of the same length is fitted at one end of this, to form a "T" shaped frame. Two adjustable feet are positioned at the ends of the cross tube so that when placed on the floor the assembled frame sits on three points.

(Almost all games type pedals, use a shuffle, or push down, mechanism.) This is a tiring and inefficient way to use your feet for precise control, and is in no way like the pedals found in real aircraft including helicopters.   But it is a way that almost all the well known games hardware makers use to get around the problem of having to construct, and fix realistic pedals to the floor or a frame of some sort.

In the MRVC system, the "T" frame cross bar sits behind the front legs of any four legged chair. This stops the frame moving away from the user and allows the pedals to operate in the correct way, as they do in real aircraft. The pedal module slides along and locks to any position on the frame to fit the leg length of the user.

Pedal set performance

The MRVC Pedals are  made from heavy plated steel, with no flimsy breakable plastic parts. The foot rests have rollers that allow almost frictionless contact, which together with  horizontal action gives precise rudder or helicopter anti-torque control. This will give you a big advantage over ordinary plastic games pedals in perfecting your flight control, particularly helicopter sims. You can assemble, adjust, and be operational  in just a few minutes, without having to use tools of any kind.
